Lake St Clair Park Centre, designed by Eastman Heffernan Walch & Button, is operated by the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Tasmania and is located adjacent to the main lodge building.
Lake St Clair is a Tasmanian tourist attraction that is Australia's deepest fresh water lake, located at the southern end of cradle mountain. The award-winning Lake St Clair park centre building won the 1998 John Lee Archer award and the New + Existing Building award in 1996 making the building known to many tourists.
