Circa Architecture

Established in 2010 as an evolution of Morris Nunn + Associates, Circa Morris Nunn Chua Architects has become one of Tasmania's most acclaimed design practices . The studio is celebrated for delivering architecture grounded in place, memory, sustainability, and a socially humane ethos. Their work spans a wide spectrum—from intimate residential interventions to large-scale public, cultural, hospitality, and adaptive reuse projects.
Directors
• Robert Morris Nunn, AM — Principal and founding director, Robert is regarded as one of Tasmania’s most adventurous architects. With over 40 years in practice, he has authored award-winning adaptive reuse and cultural projects, earned the AIA President’s Prize in 2010, and received the Order of Australia for his contributions.
• Ganche Chua — Founding Director, Ganche brings a humanistic, environmentally conscious approach to design, leading award-winning projects across residential, commercial, and public sectors with a sensitive consideration for place-making and sustainability.
